Harlem, NYC – AIRS Campaign Screening & Panel at Maysles Documentary Center

On October 3, 2024, America On Trial Inc. hosted a #AIRS Campaign documentary screening and panel discussion at the Maysles Documentary Center in Harlem, bringing community members and organizations together to discuss mass incarceration and the prison television complex.

We were honored to have panelists from Notice Blog, The TeleFeminism Project, and Working Films, along with community members and organizations from across NYC and beyond.

The event created space for a powerful conversation about media, incarceration, accountability, and the need to end the prison television complex.

The strong community turnout reinforced the importance of coming together to challenge harmful media narratives and advocate for justice, dignity, and responsible storytelling.
